It is a dull, lighter, ugly tan/brown. I love this style bag, and have it in black, but the luggage brown color is just ugly. It does not look like the color on website.

I had a smaller crossbody, but it was too small, although I had used it for several years. I needed a crossbody that wasn’t too big, one that would be the right size for the airplane. So glad I got this purse. You can always count on Michael Kors for good quality.

The leather is a bit stiff as others mentioned, but to me that's a good thing because that means the bag will hold up over time. My bag still looks fairly new and I appreciate that as I bought another mid-tier "leather" bag from CK that didn't hold up after 2 years. This bag is very cute and goes with pretty much any outfit. I'm actually here to buy the black now lol
